That's the Wallaby we saw.... at least we saw a small Kangaroo!

Look how close I am to this koala! The last picture is when the koala got really mad at Destri for getting to close. It just stopped and glared at her for so long.

We finally drove on the Great Ocean Road. It was such a nice trip! We stopped at several beaches along the way, including a famous surfing beach, Bells Beach. We then stayed in a hostel in a small beautiful beach town called Lorne. It was my first time staying in a hostel, and it was amazing. We stayed in these little cottages and even had our own loft. The only annoying things were the loud Cockatoos. They are pretty to look at but so annoying when they open their mouths/beaks. They really sound like Pterodactyls! After our night in Lorne we drove another two hours or so so that we could see The Twelve Apostles. There are really only about 7 left, but they were neat to see. We also finally saw Koalas and a Wallaby! We got crazy close to the Koalas....it was amazing and made our trip complete. The pictures don't really do justice to what we actually saw....but I hope you enjoy them anyway. It was such a fun road trip! xxx
